Users review: Arnold returned to Sabotage, as the head of an elite DEA task force taking out the drug cartels in Atlanta. After the mission cartel safe house leads to ten million dollars in cash missing, they demolished one by one from the cartel. By Skip Woods (Good Day to Die Hard, Swordfish) and directed by David Eyer (End of Watch), Sabotage visual style is raw and gritty and rarely celebrates his characters as a standard Hollywood movie.Boasting wide range of hunky actors like Sam Worthington (Avatar), Terrence Howard (Iron Man), Joe Manhanyello (True Blood), along with two annoying female leads, the play is by far the weakest link in the film. Their role of elite operatives DEA, family and honor loses credibility when you see them selling out alcohol, fornication and rustic behavior. They play their characters with a little dedication, even when they start to fall apart you least concerned with their troubles. Arnold plays more of a grandfather figure to the outstanding character with ease and do not overdo the role, as he usually does. Also, his fans will not be disappointed as they will witness him using various weapons like a bully from his earlier films.But that Sabotage seriously lacking in the performances he fills in his actions. David Eyer directs Shoot Em Up scene just as he did at the end of Watch and it looks fantastic. Shots, Ball wound and explosions feel so real; it will drop the jaw on the floor. Unlike other baked blood films like Hostel and drank, where the grotesque nature watchable, throughout the film mutilated corpses of victims of various make your head turn. The use of practical effects instead of CGI was definitely the right call Iyer makes the action look brilliant in a movie that otherwise does not have much going for it.
