Users review: In its first reading of the name, you think, ah ... Ninja Turtles ... kids stuff. This conclusion is is understandable, given the fact that most people's minds drift into Saturday morning cartoon show, which was carried out in young children. But if you are one of the handful of people remember the original TMNT comics and the darkness, you probably think of more names. This live-action version of the turtles teen gets back to his comic book origins and sacrifice Kiddie stuff darker, more melancholy film. That is the key to the greatness of the movie theater. That means that the turtles as they were intended to be shown. The film is still fun, however, to provide the viewer with all the early 90 teen Lingo and ass-kicking that you can squeeze on celluloid. The only problem is that all the Ninja Turtles saga came to love it, or hate it with a tag attached to it, often times giving it a bad rap, it's really not worth it. The film Blade Runner is not a spider or some way, but they are still a very small piece of the film that you can just sit with popcorn (and maybe pizza) bowl and enjoy without much thought. Unfortunately, this is as good as the series gets (not that this film can get much better). The aftermath (TMNT 2: The Secret of secretions and TMNT 3) Arent really that great. TMNT 2 lacks the rough edge that makes this film better (with Vanilla Ice at the sound does not help much either) and TMNT 3 obviously aimed directly at the little ones. This little film. COWABUNGA!
