Users review: Wow - that was unexpected. Trailers was I think after the Battle of Los Angeles and forgetfulness would be yet another dark, packed with special effects driven Action Sci-Fi blockbuster about an alien invasion - that the trailers do not have to spend almost completely independent long distances, it is also seasoned with almost as much humor as Groundhog Day. He would invite comparisons with Harold Ramis / Bill Murray classic was evident, given the local time loop, but I did not expect how these comparisons are not justified and that the film would be really tap into the same kind of comedy. Fortunately, this is all good for it.Most unexpected of all, the main reason for the humorous aspects during the first half the film work so well is Tom Cruise character, Major William Cage. It is easy Cruises meaty role since his turn as Frank TJ Mackey Magnolia; forgets his usual stern hero, poster boy: behold, he is playing a completely different character? and it looks really appreciate the opportunity. I usually give too much, but they are willing to laugh and laugh when you see a new side Tom Cruise.Yet while it is not as dark as the trailers suggested, it certainly is not a comedy either. And that is absolutely special effects action-packed Sci-Fi led blockbuster about dealing with an alien invasion (trailers have got that right), but with a funny bone great signs. Speaking of that, the rest of the cast is also very good, especially the beautiful Emily Blunt. It seems that no matter what she does, she always comes across as genuine and real; There she managed to portray his character - a seasoned soldier difficult other soldiers called a whore full of metal (no kidding!) - with just the touch of vulnerability to him that much more credible. Bill Paxton and Brendon Gleeson is always a welcome addition to any film, and while they are great (as usual), character wise, they do not do anything here that you have not seen it before. As for the Sci-Fi show promised trailers, I am glad to announce that the film offers. The fight scenes are beautifully orchestrated (no blur Transformer style, where you can not do anything else), and there are times when the intensity fighting remember landing at Omaha Beach in Saving Private Ryan - without the blood, of course (after all, this is a PG -13). The design of foreigners - the production design in general - is incredibly well done, but I lie if I said there was something new and revolutionary as the first re matrix was (is breathtaking, though) So, my verdict. With one of the (adapted) scripts (mega-budget) original film in a long time, and the best we've seen Tom Cruise in the most creative years, Edge of Tomorrow will make you laugh and laugh almost as much as dropping your jaw fear: this is what Hollywood should be taken as a model for summer entertaining exciting now. 9 Films for 10.Favorite star http://www.imdb.com/list/ls054200841/
