As the name suggests, this is the origin of the story that creates a demigod character. Despised by his father, King Amphitryon (Scott Adkins) since the day he was born Hercules - son of Zeus and Alkmena Queen (Roxanne McKee) - are sent after the war can not disappear with his true love, Princess waitress (Gaia Weiss ). Filmed in Eastern Europe because of cheaper costs and taxes Harlin film mimics the look and feel of its predecessors, while pretending to strip down to granular that era. However, each set piece looks like a cheap knock-off, until extensions CG - say a serious actor looking fake lion looks even worse than the cable series Spartacus and Rome.Written least four credited writers (one of the Conan the Barbarian remake terrible and Harlin), it is such a shame that such mythology-inspired story, not like Ridley Scotts Gladiator, more than anything - if you remember, Maximus, was betrayed and sold into slavery, but returned revenge. We did not realize that the legendary Greek hero Hercules actually companies on the same path to now.Unimaginative plot aside, the film suffers incredibly clunky modernized dialogue studded with a variety of British and American accent and terrible delivery of the participants. Besides McKee and Adkins (surprisingly turned solid performance), most of the cast members - especially Lutz - you need to register for advanced classes in acting. Less gutting them, health and head injury and bloodshed would normally be expected from such a topic (clearly an attempt to attract a younger audience), the legend of Hercules quickly dissolves predictable yawn fest.Its it unfortunate that film demigod with incredible power charges without emotion and the game generally only experienced paint by numbers. Compared to the Disney animated film in 1997, it's hardly worth the time.
