Users review: Early reviewer compared it to the Japanese cult favorite Battle Royale and decided it was almost light. I beg to differ - the film should be judged on merit and their own history. Battle Royale is any question about a ruthless, mindless and senseless violence and corruption, when the goal is simply to be the last to survive - kill-fest, where innovative ways to surprise and kill serve to tickle the audience, but a little to the plot. Nevertheless, The Hunger Games is about oppression and fought the revolution. Sport, though important, are part of a larger story.Compared for the first film, this one is definitely darker. Characters seem more frustrated than ever, and if you think you have a few laughs in the first film, there is virtually nothing about it. Even bright scenes with the applause of the crowd and smiling hosts seem dim, gloomy and depressing. Enjoying the witty banter, you could not wait, but .... The feeling of doom and gloom continues from the beginning to the end of the film. It's not so bad, though - it should not be more happy movie.Many and storylines were understandably cut from the film adaptation, but it is not critical to the plot of the movie. However, many peripheral actions that are not here, so even though the story moves quickly, there is always the feeling that for a thriller, there arent enough fights and explosions. Those arent they enough.But interesting film or in terms of the narrative, the film is still working to move from the first film and get ready for the third. The seeds of revolution were planted and watered, and now we are ready to mature and Lawrence harvesting.Jennifer do, but here, as in the latter film, probably because most of the growing need has been done before. Josh Hutcherson, though, put in a better performance. Although he previously may be lovestruck dog gets injured, he turned into a more complex character in this film meant that she was carrying more film.Emotionally, this film affected me less than a year. Perhaps partly because I know it will, but it explains a very small percentage. Mainly because the film was not to draw your baser emotions - all that really tugs at your feelings. Gloom pervading also seems to undermine any ability to feel more frustrated than you think you are.It another movie that can be enjoyed, though, and I enjoyed it enough. Hopefully, the next film will provide more emotional variance. If you do not feel for the characters, you will not care about the movie.
