Users review: Any true fan of the original Sleeping Beauty (1959) showed skeptical about this and how much they may differ from the actual film and the film was developed, it was only to be another woman, victim villain kind of a grease film , cula. But I'm glad I was wrong, because I'm sure just to see the whole movie, I really appreciate and understand the story and character development was very convincing new object. Of course, with very liberal changes to the original plot, the key elements that you would find is intact. Needless to mention the perfect casting of Angelina Jolie, Maleficent comes to life in full of incredible skills and presence of Angelina. That twist not cliché?, Feelings that are deep, humor that's always so natural and action that always keeps you on edge of your seat! Maleficent in this movie is not exactly as we know from the few minutes we got to see it in the original film, but let me tell you it is every bit delicious evil. It was fun to see Angelina play a role that requires a lot of shades to carry out this character with much depth as opposed to one-dimensional character of the film. Never let your temper, carrying the film on his shoulders. Nothing to take away from the beauty of the rest of the film that takes the breath gestióny excellent visual effects that really transport you to another world, and the great work done by all the actors support. Yes, the other characters were not as given as Maleficent, but I see it as a good thing, given the title and theme. A great balance. Id also like to bring light to the lovely score by James Newton Howard, this teacher is underrated.A extensive film, there's something for audiences of all ages, a true masterpiece .
